This show is exactly what you expect from it’s pictures and name: It’s dark, it’s moody, it’s quiet, it’s mysterious, it’s very very German.
It’s also incredibly beautiful, intricate, delicate and emotional. So not so German at times.

It’s about convoluted relationships, grudges, guilt and time travel and what IS your responsibility when you know something terrible is happening? Going to happen? Has already happened?

Dark is all about exploring the relationships that you know about and you haven’t uncovered yet. It’s about owning up to those you’ve wronged and knowing when to stop beating other for wronging you.

It’s very long, slow and you have to be relaxed and patient to really soak it all up.

I can’t wait for Season 2
