If you’re a parent, or missing your parent; there’s some extra uglykry in there. If you’re someone who’s felt labor pains, there’s some extra agony in there. If you’re someone who’s lost a child…. maybe not see it?
It’s scary too. With maybe two pages of spoken dialogue in the whole movie, but no gore. There’s a little blood… offscreen deaths though.
The acting is AMAZING.
As promised, within the first fifteen minutes, the audience was actively trying to stay quiet. When stuff happened, I instinctively covered my mouth and made no sound. It was impossible not to get caught up in the danger.
This was one effective movie.
