I clean houses for a living. I have been doing it for about 15 years now (its 2017 as I write this) and I’m pretty good at it.

Actually, I should amend that: I’m GREAT at it. I am more than a house-cleaner, I am a detailer. I clean things other cleaners don’t or won’t. I have cleaned corners of floors, spaces between vents, blinds, the backs of microwaves, underneath catboxes, the bottom of chairs, the top cabinet doors over the fridge – you name it, I’ve probably cleaned it at least once. This is why I have a very loyal client base. This is also why I am not the right cleaner for everyone. Some people just want maid service – sweep, dust, mop and make beds. Some people just want basic housekeeping – spray and wipe surfaces and swirl a brush around inside the toilet in addition to maid service. Some people, however, want serious deep cleaning. And some people need help becuase they haven’t cleaned anything in months, maybe years. Those two kinds of jobs are what I do – deep cleaning and cleaning that hasn’t been done in years.

Obviously, over the years I’ve learned a lot about cleaning – the science of the chemicals, the biology of the bacteria, the efficiency of methods – and this blog is to extend my learning to others.

I’m still available to clean if you live in the Greater Metro Atlanta area of Georgia. Sometimes I have enough clients, sometimes I don’t have enough. Everyone is different as to how often they need me to come out. In the meantime, I offer these posts as a way for everyone to find better ways to keep clean.
